TrustNetwork24 was founded in 2010 within the EFnet IRC community. During the golden era of IRC, TrustNetwork24 became deeply involved within the EFnet IRC community, where the team recognised a growing demand for reliable shell providers, privacy-focused hosting, and secure IRC infrastructure. What started as a small idea quickly evolved into something much larger.
With almost no startup capital, the founder began approaching established providers and offering to resell their shell accounts in exchange for commission. In the early days, monthly earnings were modest — often less than $50 per month — but the goal was never small.
While building a growing customer base and maintaining waiting lists for new accounts, the founder saved enough money to lease his first dedicated server for $150 per month. At the time, he only had enough funds to survive for two months, meaning the server had to succeed quickly or the business would fail.
It succeeded.
With strong backing from the IRC community, TrustNetwork24 rapidly expanded throughout 2007 and beyond. Dedicated servers became full within weeks, leading to additional deployments across multiple providers and datacentres. Over time, TrustNetwork24 developed into one of the most recognised and respected names within the IRC hosting industry.
What separated TrustNetwork24 from many other providers was its strong focus on privacy, freedom of speech, uptime, and resilience. The company became known for supporting internet freedom communities and providing stable infrastructure during a period when privacy-focused hosting was difficult to find.
TrustNetwork24 built a reputation for reliability under pressure, surviving major attacks, infrastructure challenges, and constant attempts by competitors to disrupt services. Rather than backing down, the network continued growing.
Over the years TrustNetwork24 provided a wide range of services to the IRC community and beyond.
As the IRC industry gradually declined, the founder stepped away from the scene in 2019 after many successful years operating within the industry. He later moved into property development, automotive ventures, and other business sectors.
But TrustNetwork24 was never truly gone — it was waiting for the right moment to return.
Now, in 2026, TrustNetwork24 returns. Working alongside major infrastructure partners, TrustNetwork24 is entering a new generation of hosting with a renewed focus on privacy, performance, infrastructure resilience, and reviving the IRC community for both old and new users alike.
